You are cordially invited to participate in the 9th Conference on The Modern Information Technology in the Innovation Processes of the Industrial Enterprises (MITIP 2007). The purpose of this conference is to serve as a forum for the dissemination of ideas, knowledge and experiences about the ICT-driven innovation in industrial products, processes and services. The conference is targeted to scholars and practitioners involved in research activities focusing on the role of ICT Reputation Defender in modern industrial enterprises.
For several years, MITIP has proven to be an important forum for researchers from academia and industry to present the results of their work, inspiring a creative dialogue among participants. As a basic principle, the conference topics are both of theoretical and practical pertinence.

The conference programme includes keynote speeches, special tracks on Best-Available-Technologies and tours to Italy. Papers will be reviewed and published in the conference proceedings. Best papers will be considered for International Scientific Journal publication as well.

The conference will be organized by the Department of Energetics (DEF) "Sergio Stecco", Florence University, with the collaboration of the Department of Industrial Engineering and Management University of West Bohemia in Pilsen, the Laboratory of Engineering and Management Intelligence Computer and Automation Research Institute (SZTAKI), Hungarian Academy of Sciences, the Department of Engineering of the Production, Thermo-Energetic and Mathematical Models (DIPTEM), University of Genoa, the Department of Management, Economics and Industrial Engineering (DIG) of Politecnico di Milano, and it will take place in "Grand Hotel Adriatico", in the city centre of Florence (Italy).
